Hello Joe Wolf

Sporty Car Coat by Sublime

for Joseph Wolf - not quite one day old

Joseph Wolf and proud new parents, Sarah and Ed, live in London, and astonishingly (to me at least) his maternal grandmother is Karyn Duggan.... so definitely off to a good start there!

As a mother myself, I want to send congratulations and good wishes to Sarah, a great and enduring friend of my own daughter when she lived in London too and didn't know many there. Reassurance that even your adult child is around good people is worth more than its weight in gold, and so it's big pleasure to have knit this for Sarah's new son - I also hope she won't mind me taking the liberty of passing on my new parent homespun  ....

1.   For the first few weeks you're sure to be not nearly as clueless as you may occasionally think, and chances are you're a whole lot better than most of the rest of us.

2. Keep in mind especially on night feeds that it gets better -  proof is in the fact that the human race ploughs on, so there's your motivation.

Fair Exchange

Laar (continued) (again)

En route from Madrid to visit family, Jenny came to stay, but I did get around to joining the shoulders. She agreed to model as proof.

Tomorrow And Tomorrow

Laar (continued)

by Gudrun Johnston in Chatham Townhouse Lace - Valentine

The tomorrow mentioned in the last post came and went.   It poured rain and I found that there were many other things to do besides peer through the gloom and fret about only forty-seven stitches where fifty-three should be.  Today is another tomorrow, and the fact I'm seemingly prepared to at least look could be seen as progress, I suppose.
