This is an unusual and possibly pointless project, but I thought I’d do it anyway on the basis that destructive lies should be exposed in every way possible from large to small. I’ve noticed that net neutrality and porn have somehow got ideologically entangled via a paradoxically excluding meme, where porn is depicted as a laudable form of free expression, and only from the vantage point of the consumer. It’s not, and the concept of the happy hooker is a lie. In the western world, the radically disadvantaged can’t be said to have any kind of freedom of choice. Porn is part of prostitution, which is made up of the radically disadvantaged.
Censorship is wrong - aside from being counter productive, it enables infringements of human rights: for instance, the kind of human trafficking that makes up prostitution. People should certainly be free to make their own choices, but they should make them unshielded by popular mythology from their true price.
